As any homeowner can attest, having a shed isn’t really a luxury, it’s a necessity. With all our various gardening gadgets ranging from lawnmowers, weed wackers, and chainsaws, to planters, pots and other items - the garage has simply run out of room - and worse still, it’s given up it’s intended use - a garage.
We all know how practical sheds are, but there’s been a quiet but growing alternate use for sheds - home studios, offices and guest houses. Not what you think of when you think sheds, but more and more people are opting for a much less expensive structure for their backyard or vacation property, outfitting them with electrical, plumbing and using them for all sorts of things. Transforming the simple shed into something much more robust and even more practical.
To this end, we’ve created this blog so we can all share our wonderful stories, ideas and love of sheds.
